Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras) is not about over indulging and letting our morals go for a day. It is about appreciating how God has blessed us. It is to help us prepare ourselves for Lent, when we contemplate what life would be without God’s blessings, and to remove obstacles from entering into a deeper relationship with God.
